MLB April 14th Selections

CHC(Hendricks)(-180) – Pit might actually have the SP edge, but Pit is not htting so I will go with the Cubs at home

Phi(Nola)(+170) – yes Nats should be favoured at home, but this line is out of whack considering the Nats inconsistency

NYY(Tanaka)(-152) – Tanaka will be better on extra rest, always has been, Yanks should be favoured at home, Stl isn’t hitting but does have the SP edge on current form

Bal(Miley)(+125) – staying away from Tor untill they figure out how to score again

NYM(Syndergaard)(-160) – Mets should get this done behind Thor

Bos(Porcello)(-135) – this is a coin flip for me, give Bos the edge at home as Porcello’s run of QS’s is impressive

Cle(Bauer)(-166) – the line is overcooked, given the SP is ugly, it could be a shootout in which case I like the Tribe at home, they are hitting better than Det is

Cin(Feldman)(-118) – Reds should be favoured at home, have a big SP advantage

Atl(Teheran)(-137) – Braves should get this done in their new park, Chacin is a bit of a wild card though, which one of him shows up?

Min(Mejia)(-153) – line is overcooked as both SP’s are wild cards, but I do give the Twins the edge at home

KC(Duffy)(-127) – LA is the better team, but I like KC vs a converted reliever in a spot start

Hou(Keuchel)(-126) – tough call, but Hou does have the hotter bats

Tex(Perez)(+125) – you want to take Sea and Felix on Griffey Jr night, but they are struggling too much to trust

Ari(Greinke)(+230) – you hate going against Kershaw but he was off last time out and Ari comes in as the hot team so I can’t swallow this line

SF(Cueto)(-130) – coin flip game, SF has the SP edge but Col is hot right now, if the line was any higher I proably go the other way

Yesterday: 5-6 and down 2.47 units
Season: 74-64 and down 6.43 units

Enjoy the games everybody!
