July 7th – Semifinal #2 Selection

Germany v France

The Germans have an unbelieveable record of defeating the host country at major tournaments, having won 9 straight times v the host country since the 1966 World Cup. They even managed to beat themselves when the old East Germany beat West Germany in ’74…lol

This time around however they are missing at least 3 and possibly a fourth through injury and suspension so will the cohesiveness that we have seen thus far still be there?

The French are a little younger and less experienced but will have a roaring crowd at their back and will be playing a bit looser having achieved their minimum goal of reching the semifinal stage.

As tempting as it is to go with the hosts here, a track record like the Germans have is too much to ignore, I think the Germans are deep enough to go through.

The Pick: Germany(+195)

Yesterday: 1-0 and up 1.13 units
Tournament: 21-28 and down .5 units

Enjoy the game everybody!
